Sean J. Conlon is an Irish entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, who’s owned and operated a number of successful real estate companies based in the Chicagoland Chicago and Midwest area. Among others, Conlon is the founder and current CEO chairman of CONLON: A Real Estate Company, which, in 2013, became an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, an exclusive real estate network. He is also founder and current owner of Conlon & Co., a real estate merchant bank that funds projects around the globe and structures financing for real estate deals across America and Europe.
Mr. Conlon has become recognized as one of the top real estate experts in the country. He is often the "voice of real estate" for journalists and reporters; he has been interviewed by CNN, CNBC, New York Times, Forbes, Crain's and Wall Street Journal to discuss the market and trends within the real estate industry.
Sean Conlon presides over an extensive real estate business; he and his companies have made an indelible mark on the way real estate sales are performed and transactions are executed. He has been recognized as one of the top real estate experts in the U.S.; in 2006, he was featured in the 60-minute RTE Irish Television "Made in America" documentary highlighting triumphant business successes; was featured in Crain's "40 under 40"; awarded Irish America's Business 100 profile four years running; and has spoken at The Wharton School of Business on entrepreneurship and leadership in 2006, Cornell and DePaul Universities in 2009. He is a member of the National Strategy Forum, Chicago Council of Global Affairs, Economics Club of Chicago, And Chicago Sister Cities International Humanitarian Committee and sits on the boards for the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Rosemont Realty Fund.
